He is a sweet little fella yes, and definitely calm and secretive! He likes to hide out under the dinning room table… just waiting quietly for a crumb to fall or for a hand to reach down and give him a little scratch. Wishing you a great week Cathy 🙂
I have one very shy kitty. It’s taken a long time to bring her around, but we now have lovely exchanges of head butting and she sends out a lovely purr. Their is nothing like earning an animal’s trust.
I agree! He is such a handsome little guy, but he has such an extreme distate for the camera (and the brush) that most every photo I have of him is a big blurr as he dashes away. I think this time went really well though and i’ll keep gently trying to bring him around!
Hello Tai! Right at that very moment… I think he was calculating if he should dash off to his right or dash straight into my lap. He really loves the cannonball approach to cuddling 🙂
Oh Pepper, you are so dreamy. Mona has nothing on you at all. Are you resting on someones leg Pepper? You’re so good at photographing your sweet pals Kathryn, but I don’t think Pepper could take a bad photo, EVER! xo
We love collies, which is obvious whenever you visit our blog. But while collies are our chosen breed, I love all dogs, and have to stop and say hello to any dog I happen to meet, I love that you have such an assortment of canines living with you. You don’t care what shape or size the canine comes in, you just love them all. And I think you are awesome, and someday, we will have another mixed breed/shelter dog too.
I wish you would tell us each dog’s story, how they came to find you, and what their personalities are like! (if you have the time, I know we would all enjoy learning more about these sweet souls.)
Such kind words, thank you so much Kat! We just love your Collies, their smiling faces always go straight to our heart. When the time is right and you guys choose another shelter doggie, he/she will be a very fortunate soul indeed to join your happy and loving family! 😀
Pepper is a little anxious but willing to pose for Mom. He looks beautiful and is giving you love and the rare gift of trust 🙂
He really has gotten to the point where he is willing to try things, and that is a relief!
Pepper is such a sweetie! I see what you mean – calm and a little secretive perhaps.

But far lovelier. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
Aww thanks Molly, I’ll be sure to tell him you said so! Have a great week 🙂
What a sweetheart!!!
He is an exceptional cuddler, you would love him 🙂
I know I would!! 🙂
Such a sweet face! Have a super-duper autumn weekend. 🙂
Thanks, we all wish you guys a great week too!
What a beautiful pup! Such soft, warm eyes. 🙂
Thank you Daisy!
Hello gorgeous!
Haha, he says “hello you” right back!
Poor sweetie. Thanks for the snapshot. Pepper is lucky to have you. xox
It’s not easy being shy 🙂 I think he did well though, and we sealed the deal with a big fat kiss afterwards!
Awwww.

What a face!
He is a handsome little fella isn’t he?!
Pepper is a beauty and yes with Mona Lisa eyes. ❤
Yes, Mona Lisa eyes! It’s that coy look right? He makes me smile
We have a complaint – why only once a year?! Pepper certainly has the smile down pat.

And a beautiful pose it is too! Hugs to Pepper! 🙂 x
I thought the pose was pretty darn cute too… for someone who hates the camera he sure knows how to work it! Hugs right back for you 🙂
Yes – Mona Lisa! Such a gorgeous doggie. Please give him a huge hug from me. xoxoxox
The Mona Doggy 🙂 Hug delivered!
Better than the Mona Lisa! 🙂
Hehe, I’ll be sure to tell him! Thanks guys 🙂
Actually, I find Pepper’s warm brown eyes far more beautiful and soulful than the Mona Lisa’s. I wonder what Pepper is thinking at this very moment…?

He’s much more beautiful than the Mona Lisa!
Aww thanks guys, you are sweet!
So sweet xx
We think that is a very sweet photo of Pepper. Hugs and nose kisses
Mona Lisa does not have such soft, gentle eyes!
Awww! Sweet little Pepper loves the love 🙂
