A lush green lawn in Mexico is a rare thing, especially one without prickles.
Ours sprouts wild geraniums & carrots, attracts turtles,
and brings never-ending contentment
& bliss for the whole family.

Everything in the backyard is considered a great snack, except of course the turtles which I take to the pond… again and again! When i was out this morning I noted that most of the carrots have vanished… they’ll be back back tho 🙂
It was a long wait to get it, and then a big job coaxing it to grow nicely… but it’s been so worth every effort! These guys are crazy for it, and you know how happy that makes me 🙂
I hadn’t really thought about the lack of grass for you guys. I didn’t see grass until I came to live with The Help and I still remember the wonder of walking on the softness and smelling the earthiness and rolling in the comfortableness!
I’m glad you have some to enjoy 🙂
That is such a great visual of your first grassy experience! I bet you still love to go out and roll around and enjoy every soft inch of it… as a matter of fact, I’ve seen the photos! 🙂 Have a great weekend Zena, and thanks for coming by to say hello!
We all love the grass… but Parmalat officially goes bananas in it! I love pure happiness like this, makes my heart feel good. I am glad to hear that you guys are having fun in the green too!!
Awesome, looks like a good ol’ scratch. Buddy used to rub and twist and SNORT…such a scene but we loved to watch him enjoy the splendour and simplicity of grass.
That photo does capture pure bliss! Wrigs has to roll in our front yard at least once a day. Ours isn’t lush and green like yours though! We always get a kick out of watching him–it makes him so happy. 🙂
Happy rolling my friends and have a wonderful weekend..HUGS xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
Hi Mollie!
I just found this in my spam folder… 😥
I am glad I saw it there, I would have been so sad to have missed you!!
Big Hugs Xoxoxo
What bliss and you are a poet but then I knew that 🙂 Enjoy your weekend we finally have warm weather but there are some thunder clouds around 😦
I wasn’t quite sure if thrash and grass rhymed, but I thought I would go with it anyways! Enjoy your warm weather xo
Nothing better than rolling in Spring grass. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
It is a wonderful thing isn’t it Molly! You can come over and roll with us anytime, there is always room for one more! Have a great Friday! 🙂
Do the dogs eat the carrots? 🙂

They are so lucky to have a patch of grass to play in. It must be such a special place for them.

Nothing quite like a good thrash in the grass!
Good for the soul right!
Ohhhh Yeah!! 🙂 Nothing else does it better!
O that’s the best thing ever… you smell like Mr. Spring personally after rolling in the grass :o)
It’s such a great smell! Of all the things these guys like to roll in, grass is definitely my favorite 🙂
… me too… if the grass isn’t decorated with special “highlights” :o)

Thanks Kelly 🙂
There are so many hilarious stamps of approval our sweet fellas give us, but I think doggy snorts is one of my top favorites!
Looks like a good roll to me:-)
I think so too 🙂
Now that’s a happy pooch!!
She sure is! 🙂
What a great photo!!!!! That is one HAPPY dog!
Thank you so much!
A happy dog! A couple of the pack have been doing that too. We’re lucky, we have lots of grass.
Grass is such a wonderful treat! You guys enjoy it! 🙂

It’s amazing that something so simple can bring so much happiness. I love that Wrigs has his daily roll.. he is such a cute little guy!
