Thank you! That is a real old tree that blew down in the wind storm, and the plants along the stream get so big and prickly… it really does seem prehistoric. Little Tootsie wasn’t sure at first, but now she loves the new bridge.
Hi, thank you! I do use Instagram occasionally but this time I just altered the light levels with a basic photo editor. It was a pretty dark shot to begin with from being taken in the trees, so i was glad i could pull out some nice tones and colors from the plants and my little Tootsie girl.
She looked and thought for a long time, and then in an instant (when i finally put my camera down) she was over it… and off down the trail on the other side with me following not far behind!

Awesome photo. I see an ancient fallen tree in a prehistoric forest and Tootsie wondering how she got there.

Dreamy – did she cross or was looking enough?

So lovely..
what a cool picture!!! π
It’s a great picture, but I always feel sad when I see such a large tree has fallen.
Beautiful picture: colors, style, textured, almost ethereal. I hope she loves her new bridge:-)
