I am not sure how she does it, but she is always the one who knows exactly what is going on in the front yard, she is also the first one to wake up and start moving around when my toes touch the floor in the morning (I can hear the little bell on her collar tinkling in the next room) and she is usually the first to bark when I arrive home after some time spent away. She really feels everything! Such a special little girl. She stood at the open window and watched that whole storm, she loves to understand and to be a part of things.
They really are like little jewels.. I love how they are all different sizes, yet each one is so perfectly round and so freezing cold even on the hottest day. The sound they make on the corrugated roof is absolutely terrifying tho! We all have to dive under the tables and tremble in the blankets until it passes… except of course Christmas who stands at the window and soaks it all up!
How luck to be in warm and dry. Do you think she feels there was something out there as I know she is your deaf baby?

What a gorgeous little series, and how interesting to find out your deaf pup is so intuitive! They really are my favorite creatures.
Thank you so much!!
Wishing you a great weekend,

Beautiful photos. The quote you’ve used for your footer is one of my favorites…so very true.
Thank you so much for taking the time to come by, and for your comment!
