She sleeps in there all the time, what a smart little girl. Eventually they dig down way too far though, and I start to worry that someone will be all the way in and the others might cave it in running over the top, so then i start going out and filling it back in a little each day!
If you check out my main banner photo, she is actually there, sleeping in the hole… all you can see is her head peeking out. I worry about her too, and make sure she never goes down far enough to be in any danger. I have actually resorted to putting bricks in the bottom of it recently.
The amount of times I have stepped in that hole at night though and nearly twisted my ankle… now that is another story!

Someone is getting away from the heat, smart dog : )
